I am a self taught Student of Nature and Amateur Historian and Geologist. I am fascinated with the cycles of nature. I adore the outdoors and hiking, backpacking and camping. I enjoy hands on opportunities to explore nature and history.

I dream of traveling to near and far protected areas where people are working together to preserve and/or restore natural environments and the histories that go with them. I enjoy learning about human history, but have more interest in pre-modern events and cultures. I adore museums big and small, roadside exhibits, interpretive trails, maps, road trips, books, documentaries and wine tasting.
